DIY NO-FROTH LONDON FOG

We've been craving warm drinks lately, and with all of the options available at your local café, it's easy to overspend on seasonal treats. One of our favorites is the rich, comforting London Fog; a super popular twist on the standard earl grey tea. You only need four ingredients to whip this one up in your own kitchen. London Fogs call for steamed or frothed milk, but if you can't manage that at home, this recipe is just as good without the froth!

WHAT YOU DO

  • Earl Grey Tea of choice (enough to make one tea)
  • ½ Cup of milk or your favorite non-dairy beverage (we went with cashew milk)
  • ½ 1 TSP Maple Syrup, depending on taste preference
  • ¼ TSP Vanilla
  • Whisk or spoon

WHAT YOU DO

  • Brew one serving of earl grey tea in a large mug of choice
  • Warm ½ cup of your dairy or non-dairy alternative on the stovetop, adding the maple syrup + vanilla and stirring until combined
  • Using your whisk or spoon, mix up the milk, maple syrup and vanilla, and pour overtop of your freshly brewed earl grey.
